Dr. Charles A. Houston Jr. graduated from Syracuse, University in 1990 with a Bachelor degree in Mathematics and obtained both a Master of Divinity in 2002 and his Doctor of Ministry in 2003 from the Christian Life School of Theology.
Dr. Houston has worked as a professional in the insurance industry for 20 years and was ordained into the ministry in 2005. He was ordained in 2006 and is currently working and joyfully serving in full time ministry as the Associate Pastor of Counseling at Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral in Austell, GA where Bishop Dale C. Bronner is the Founder and Senior Pastor. Dr. Houston’s main responsibilities revolve around the effective Counseling of the 19,000+ congregation and the surrounding community in the areas of premarital, marriage/family, financial, career and grief/loss. He also teaches the New Members financial class, officiates weddings among other ministry duties.
Dr. Houston is the co-founder of AIM Enterprises, a motivational speaking organization that specializes in Personal Life Coaching and life improvement seminars. In 2006, Dr. Houston and his business partner, Richard Cox, wrote and published their first book entitled “AIM for Impact”
Dr. Houston obtained a CAMS certification (certified anger management specialist) as well as a Prepare/Enrich facilitator certificate for couples and relationship training.
Dr. Houston was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Atlanta, GA in 1993. He currently resides in Fairburn, GA with his wife of 25 years, Monica, and their 19 year old daughter, Eva.
